Iteris is proud to provide staffing and management services to the 511 Operations Center in Oakland, California that is responsible for collecting, curating and disseminating traffic and transit information for the nine-county Bay Area region through the 511 SF Bay traveler information system, of which the 511 Phone System and Transit Data System have been managed by Iteris since 2015.
In addition, Iteris provides staffing and management services to the Regional Operations Center in San Francisco, California to monitor traffic and toll collection systems along the MTC-operated Express Lanes, and help maximize mobility through arterial management and coordinated incident response.
Iteris has provided TMC staffing and management services for the Virginia Department of Transportation's Northwest and Southwest regions, customer service center staffing, and statewide TMC management leadership since 2018.
Iteris’ TMC operators monitor traffic status, special events, scheduled events, active events and incident fault status using CCTV cameras, SSP reports, Virginia State Police reports, internal systems, GUI display/detector data and more.
Iteris is proud to provide operations services and staff to the Florida Department of Transportation's (FDOT) District 7 Tampa Bay SunGuide Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC). The program supports FDOT’s commitment to a “proactive operations culture”, which takes a more purposeful approach to seeking and anticipating traffic-related issues with the goal of improving road safety and efficiency for travelers.
Future tasks will include the integration of freeway managed lanes to the RTMC, integrated corridor management, and design and construction oversight of the floor layout for the new operator workstations.
Iteris is proud to serve as an extension of the City of Pasadena’s staff in their TMC during special events at the Rose Bowl. These events include the UCLA football home games, concerts, festivals, soccer games, and the Rose parade and game during the New Year.
Iteris staff involvement begins with the planning meetings led by the Pasadena Police Department of each special event and ends with a recap of the event, including any potential improvements noted. During the event, Iteris staff has access to the City’s CCTV cameras, video detection cameras, signals on the City’s Transparity and SCATS central system, CMS signs, and all hardcopies of the timing sheets.
Due to the success and positive feedback from a pilot program with the City of Santa Monica, Iteris was brought on to manage the City's TMC during the holiday months from Thanksgiving to New Years.
Iteris also provides staffing support on various events throughout the year, and has staffed the LA Marathon since 2016, the Genesis Open in 2017, and continues with “Go with the Flow” TMC support for summer and winter.
