Vantage Vector Now Delivers Even More Robust Performance

Iteris is excited to share that its most popular detection solution is now more powerful than ever. The Vantage Vector hybrid sensor on the Vantage Next platform will be upgraded to now feature a powerful 4D/HD radar technology for even better, more robust performance.

What is 4D/HD radar technology?

Unlike most other radar sensors which separate objects by only one dimension (e.g. range or speed), 4D/HD radar technology provides measurements in four dimensions (e.g. range, speed, azimuth, elevation) and can separate objects simultaneously by both speed and range.

The result is better detection performance and counting accuracy of moving and stopped vehicles, including on roadways where vehicles may be closely spaced together like busy intersections and stop-and-go traffic.

4D/HD technology combined with a robust design make the Vantage Vector a powerful solution for multi-lane, multi-object traffic tracking with exceptional reliability in all weather conditions, including heavy rain and snow.

Superior stop bar and advance detection

Vantage Vector on the Vantage Next provides state-of-the-art video and advance radar detection up to 600 feet in a single sensor. It is the ideal detection solution for ITS applications, signal performance measures (SPM) and adaptive traffic control systems, including SCOOT, Synchro and ACSLite.
